The Manager, Pricing & Inventory will supervise a team of analysts and ensure that the Direct Response and Long Form inventory is being monetized to its maximum potential. The ideal candidate will utilize trend analysis for profitability.
Work in conjunction with the Head of Pricing & Inventory to establish inventory allocation and usage for Direct Response and Long Form;
Set, monitor, and maintain rate structure;
Primary liaison to Traffic department to ensure proper units are getting preempted for replacement with higher-priced inventory;
Develop tools to track inventory issues, revenue at risk, and revenue analysis reports;
Daily oversight and management of Direct Response and Long Form P&I Analysts;
Build strong working long distance relationships with advertising community and ION Account Executives.
4 year BS/BA degree;
3+ years relevant experience (Ad sales in Pricing & Planning and/or agency buying);
Knowledge of Planning, Deal Maintenance or Traffic System;
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel,
Must have the ability to focus and navigate through the demands of a fast-paced work environment,
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented;
Strong team player who possesses excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
