  • Overview

    The Digital Networks Account Executive is responsible for selling air time for ION Media’s two 24/7 multi-cast networks available on broadcast, cable, and satellite television. This position is focused on developing new and growing business among major agencies via strong relationships and superior client service.


    • Position ION Media’s digital network brands and unique value proposition at the agency and direct client levels.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively maximize advertising opportunities and revenue growth.
    • Increase rates, activity, and share of business to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals, with specific focus on rate achievement.
    • Execute directives to maximize revenue goals and achieve pricing objectives set by commercial operations management.
    • Establish and maintain strong relations with all short-form agencies, direct accounts and clients, via regular in-person meetings, phone calls and emails.
    • Maintain an awareness of competition, trends and opportunities in the marketplace.
    • Develop and maintain management reporting tools to track marketplace activity and interactions. 


    • 4-8 years of television advertising sales experience.
    • Excellent negotiating, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
    • Ability to adapt to evolving business strategy and sales methodology.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines on a regular basis.
    • Consistent achievement of established goals.
