  • Overview

    The Event Assistant will work closely with the Advertising Sales Account Executives and the Marketing department to coordinate and help execute upfront related meetings. This requires the physical set-up and breakdown of meetings at various off-site locations.


    • Manage Sales Account Executives meeting calendars for the upfront sales season.
    • Work with external vendors and internal team members to coordinate meeting schedules and presentation needs.
    • Coordinate car service transportation, meeting materials, technology/equipment, catering and premium needs for upfront sales meetings and events.
    • Carrying of all collateral materials for meetings. Heavy lifting is required.
    • Accompany Sales Account Executives on calls and meetings and assist with:
      • Physical transportation of meeting materials to off-site locations.
      • Set-up and breakdown of off-site meeting rooms. Heavy lifting is involved.
      • Set-up of laptops, speakers and projectors, as well as run presentation slides.



    • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred).
    • Project or event coordination experience is strongly preferred.
    • Skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a professional in-person presence.
    • Experience as a team player and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
    • Intermediate Audiovisual knowledge.
    • Flexible, personable, self-starter, and extremely detail-oriented.
    • Ability to multitask, specifically juggling simultaneous events and monitoring/managing multiple deadlines.
    • High energy, enthusiastic, and motivated demeanor.
    • Must be polished and professional.
