The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing functions in the areas of finance, budget administration, and analysis for ION Television's Station Group as it relates to the Post-Auction Station Repack.
Update the financial section of the Form 399 for the FCC submission of estimated and actual reimbursable costs by repack station.
Quickly research and follow-up on any Requests for Information from the FCC for repack submissions.
Accurately update and maintain tracking of each station's repack budget and actual expenditures.
Prepare reimbursement forms for FCC review of expenditures and track reimbursements.
Model the cash flow impact of the repack based on FCC reimbursement guidelines.
Provide detailed operational expense tracking and analysis.
Prepare risk analysis on various repack aspects such as transmitter, tower moves, etc.
Maintain an organized database of all documentation to support repack costs by station and vendor.
Maintain and distribute a weekly repack financial report and metrics.
Translate engineering and technical information into a format that can be understood by non-technical individuals.
Reporting to include mining data and creating reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required.
Attention to detail extremely important.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of NetSuite and Host Analytics a strong plus.
Strong mathematical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize work while paying great attention to detail is a must.
