  • Overview

    The Insurance Risk Analyst reports to the General Counsel and will be responsible for the company’s commercial insurance programs, annual policy renewals, and claims processing. Candidates should be well-organized, analytically-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work with cross-functional teams including Finance, Station Operations and Human Resources colleagues will be critical to this role.


    • Handle day-to-day insurance administration activities.
    • Lead insurance program renewal placements including renewal application underwriting data preparation and gathering, insurance meeting participation, development of presentations and reports to senior management.
    • Analyze risk exposure across the company as appropriate for the various program renewals.
    • Assist with property value collection and validation process.
    • Correspond with insurance brokers, and other departments as it relates to corporate insurance renewals, endorsements, claims, invoices, coverage questions, and various other insurance-related matters.
    • Manage the invoice/payment process for all placements, fees, and claims billings.
    • Manage the certificate of insurance request process. Responsible for maintaining and tracking all incoming vendor insurance certificates.
    • Collaborate and work effectively on cross-functional teams with Finance, Legal, HR, Real Estate, and Facilities on various risk management programs and initiatives.
    • Provide ad hoc support to risk management teams including Legal and Finance.


    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in the field of Risk Management and/or Insurance.
    • 1-3 years of progressive Risk Management experience, either in a corporate environment or at an insurance brokerage firm or insurer.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft business applications including Word, Power Point, and Excel in particular. Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with insurance and risk management software tools is a plus.
    • Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.
    • High attention to detail and high aptitude for accuracy required.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across the organization and with external business partners.
    • Ability to handle a number of simultaneous projects, demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive project to completion.
    • Professional Risk Management certification (e.g, ARM, CPCU) or willingness to pursue such a designation is a plus.
