  • Overview

    The Direct Response, Vice President will oversee and manage all aspects of the Direct Response (DR) business for ION Television.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead Direct Response team to generate revenue by increasing rates, developing new business, and growing existing accounts. 
    • Recruit and develop best-in-class team of Account Executives.
    • Ensure the team has quarterly touchpoints in person at the agency/client level to keep ION top of mind.
    • Proactively develop business plans to drive account growth and development to achieve revenue goals.
    • Create, maintain and enhance senior-level relationships with key clients and agencies.
    • Collaborate with the Inventory and Yield Management leadership teams to manage and maximize inventory optimization, reporting etc.

    Qualifications

    • 15+ years of DR selling experience in media or a related field. 
    • 3+ years of experience managing people or leading a sales team. 
    • Deep knowledge of the Direct Response marketplace.
    • Strong negotiation skills.
    • Strong leadership skills to set direction and motivate the team to success. 
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
